Community Projects

Our thoughtfully curated projects exemplify how artistic creativity can act as a catalyst for fostering positive transformations within communities. We facilitate arts-health interventions that create a non-judgmental, stimulating, and supportive space where individuals can maximise their potential for self-fulfilment. The impact of these sessions extends far beyond the individual, reaching family members and the broader community, as evidenced by the feedback we've received.

Engaging in our purposefully designed series of activities takes participants on a creative journey, equipping them with new skills and techniques that encourage reflection on life, choices, and actions, ultimately leading to personal growth and empowerment. In essence, Arts 2 Heal is more than just a provider of arts-based activities; we offer a pathway to enhanced mental health and well-being, with benefits that transcend the scope of traditional support services.

We invite you to reach out to us to express your interest or request information about projects in your vicinity. Additionally, if you require assistance in organising an Arts 2 Heal project at your local community centre or charitable organisation, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Covid Kahani - A Song by Arts 2 Heal

Covid Kahani, is a song written and sung by members of Arts 2 Heal and supported by the Heritage Fund, is a powerful musical composition that raises awareness about the global Covid-19 pandemic. Through heartfelt lyrics and a catchy melody, the song inspires resilience and unity in the face of adversity. It serves as a reminder of the transformative power of art and the ability to find hope even in challenging times. With a shared message of solidarity, the song's YouTube release connects people worldwide, fostering comfort and a collective sense of hope as we navigate the ongoing crisis.

Making Connections Collaborative Project

The collaborative project uses art's transformative power to connect individuals, combat isolation, and boost well-being. Explore 'Journey To Connection,' our latest exhibition at Blackburn Railway Station, where stunning birds in flight symbolise our shared journeys and the potential for discovery within us. Each bird carries an inspiring message, celebrating the beauty and wonder of the world around us.

Supported by Community Rail Lancashire.

Staying Connected

One of our most cherished projects, 'Staying Connected,' brings together the diverse voices of over 200 community members as they share their unique experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. These stories reflect not only the challenges faced but also the resilience, support, and care that defines our community. Collaborating with students from the University Centre Blackburn College, we celebrate the strength of our collective spirit and the bonds that have kept us united.

Supported by People's Postcode Lottery.
