Join Us Today for our Arts-Based Inventions for Mental Wellbeing.
Over the past year, Arts 2 Heal has positively impacted the mental well-being of more than 600 individuals through tailored workshops designed for personal growth and skill development. Our interventions create a safe, non-judgmental space for participants to explore their creativity and find healing. Many of our members have transitioned into employment, higher education, or further training in areas such as ESOL, Teaching Assistant qualifications, Art and Design, Counselling, and Childcare. These successes demonstrate the long-term value of the skills gained during their time with Arts 2 Heal.Your donation can help us to provide essential services to those in need. Every dollar counts and makes a big difference in the lives of those we serve.
A remarkable 90% of participants report a significant improvement in their mental health following engagement in our programs. In addition to creative workshops, we encourage members to actively participate in the organization and delivery of eight festivals across the North of England each year. These festivals allow members to gain public-facing experience, promote mental well-being, and engage more than 150 individuals per festival. Our community events, such as interactive art exhibitions in Blackburn Town Centre and a welcoming community space at Preston Railway Station, foster connection and inclusivity across diverse populations.
Arts 2 Heal encourages members to contribute to the wider community through socially impactful projects. For example, members collect litter to create large-scale sculptures, engage in collaborative art in care homes, and work on intergenerational projects that bridge community divides. These initiatives develop essential life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and community engagement. By providing a sense of purpose, these projects not only promote emotional well-being but also inspire a sense of social responsibility.
Through our accessible and transformative services, we aim for tangible improvements: a 20% reduction in self-reported anxiety scores and a 25% increase in self-confidence among participants by the end of the program. Julie, a participant, expressed: "Before Arts 2 Heal, I felt isolated and hopeless. Now, I have a supportive community and the skills to manage my anxiety. I’m even considering returning to work!"
We believe in dismantling barriers and creating a more inclusive, accessible community where every individual has a voice. Our workshops and events connect people from diverse backgrounds, promoting understanding, inclusion, and mental well-being for all.
Many members go on to secure employment or pursue further education, building on the skills they developed with us. Our programs offer a stepping stone to careers in fields such as education, social work, and the arts. By empowering members to re-enter the workforce or continue their studies, we help them build sustainable futures and make meaningful contributions to society.
